Main Cast Pictures

Ella
Ella's Hair and make-up was very basic and subtle. This was to create a natural look so that she portrays an everyday common lady. Her hair was long and down, generally to the side and her make up was just eye liner to make her eyes stand out.  Throughout the trailer, Ella's costume changes but always remained smart. This is to show that she is a working lady that lives an everyday typical life.

Plain white top with brown trousers, smart but casual.

Brown Jacket and again hair to the side.

Smart shirt but again dark colours to reflect the mood of the trailer.

Kitchen Scene again, Ella wearing black trousers and a grey blazer.

Mary
Mary is our antagonist who is played by Sonia Sharma, this shows you how we achieved an older demonic look using certain make up, hair styles and costume.

To begin our process we made a base layer of pale foundation on Sonia's skin to create a lighter tone. We repeated this step multiple time so as to create a pale, unhealthy complexion.

For our next step, we used a brown eyebrow pencil to draw wrinkles across Sonia's forehead, and below where muscles on her face ended and then blended to create a deep wrinkle effect. By placing shadow around her cheek, we created a droopy jowl effects that can come with old age. We also shadowed under her eyes to create a sallow look. After this, we used a light layer of pale foundation powder over the top to make the ageing effect seem more realistic and we defined the lines across her forehead and between her eyebrows.

Our next step in creating our antagonist was to dress her in a white gown and begin on her hair. We wanted to take inspiration from "The Devil Inside", so we began to back-comb Sonia's hair to make it wild and bushy. After this, we sprayed it with dry shampoo to make her hair seem grey and straw like.
